Border Town Recycling Group

Border Town Recycling would like to thank the residents of Stewart for participating in our recycling program since 2010 and making recycling a success in Stewart. Operation of the full recycling program has been a great deal of work for our non-profit organization. Recycling services in Stewart will now be managed by the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine at the new Recycling Diversion Center, located at the Stewart Landfill. We will work closely with the Regional District to offer public education and ensure the continued success of recycling in Stewart.

Border Town Bottle Depot still accepts deposit beverage containers and is open on Thursdays from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the pool building - 720 King Street (please use the side entrance).

PLEASE NOTE:  Border Town Recycling requests that everyone please put your clean empties in a tied bag with the count written on it - Thank you!

Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
