     Stewart Barge Apron & Log Dump Revitalization - Submission Report from Cambria Gordon

    The primary focus of the Stewart Barge Apron & Log Dump Revitalization (the Project) was to prepare    
    engineering and environmental documents to support the District of Stewart in an application for
    construction funding and environmental permitting of a barge unloading facility.  The project also
    included information gathering in regard to the maintenance of the log booming grounds.

                Sustainability Consulting)


          As the number and proportion of older people increases nation-wide, caring for an older population is
           becoming  a priority for BC communities.  As the needs and abilities of the local population change with
            age, there are significant implications for government service provision.  In response to this recognition,
            a growing  movement has evolved to facilitate the planning and development of age-friendly communities.

                (Balance Sustainability Consulting)

                The purpose of this report is to provide background information on the state of local government climate
                action efforts in BC to inform a recommended approach to addressing Bill 27 for the District of Stewart
